Deep Draw Specialists

Deep Drawing is a cold forming process where the depth of the resulting piece is greater than the diameter or length and width of the component. During this process, metal is displaced, thinning near the top and thickening near the base. Depending upon material composition, this can also lead work hardening, which can introduce stress fractures and splitting in the material if the proper steps are not taken.

Impel Industries begins this process with a feasibility study, built from our years of metal stamping and deep draw experience. Whether it is a traditional deep-drawn part or a series of reductions, we have the knowledge and experience to produce a wide range of diameters, depths, boxes, and a variety of additional forms and shapes.
